They named this video too much Red Bull for a Biker Kid and I have to admit I found this very funny he seems so pumped to ride I love this kind of stuff. Now the irony of this all is he is on a Rockstar bike and they are saying to much Red Bull I thought that was funny too. But this video is great and I don't know if this kid really had to much caffein or he was pumped to ride because I have seen kids on the line like this well maybe not that bad lol.

Who Is Your Favorite Motocross Racer?

There are so many superstars out there I was just wondering who people like best because we all know if someone is winning all the time they are either loved or hated there is usually no in-between. So Let me know who your favorite rider is I would say the most popular 10 riders are Ryan Villipoto, Ryan Dungey, James Stewart, Davey Millsap, Chad Reed, Justin Barcia, Ken Roczen, Trey Canard, Eli Tomac, and <ike Alessi. And they are in no certain order buit just a list and I might have missed one or two they were just on the top of my head. So l;et me know who your favorite rider is.

The Moto: The Real Life Of Racers

This is a video you must watch it hits you were it counts and makes you wonder why they go through what they go through for the love of the sport. You think about what all these people gave up to get where they are now and hoes many of these people gave everything up and sold all they had too get nothing. There are a very few that make it in the big times and there are way too many who do not succeed. My question is what can we do to market the sport better and have more financial resources to get these riders that give it there all.

Think about it all the rest of the sports have a roster of players and a hole load of teams that play at once  and the amount of money these layers get paid. Does this world realize what these motocross riders go through to get where they are all of the ups and downs. I can not stress enough we need more coverage in Motocross and Supercross. WE NEED THE WORLD TO REALIZE THIS IS THE TOUGHEST SPORT EVER MADE, AND FOR WHAT THEY GET IN RETURN A RETIREMENT OF PAIN AND AGONY!

Searching Within Motocross to Find What I always Desired

Well my hole life I have loved motocross and supercross and always wanted to work in the industry, but never took that step to get there. I have loved motocross my hole life watching it every chance I get, but never getting the chance to work in that environment. I have been thinking a lot about finding my place in motocross were as I can travel to all the races and do what I love best, and you know I feel I can be a great asset to any team, but there again comes the problem how would you even find were to approach a team and say "Look this is what I can do for you", and at least make an attempt to do what I have always loved. My son who races motocross would also love for me to do something like this after all he can be around it all year around.

Yes I would even enjoy starting out at the amateur level and moving up that way. I might even enjoy the amateur racing so much I would want to stay. Well If anyone has any suggestions howe to approach this remarkable task please let me know.

After seeing these cool bikes I can imagine how many riders are going to want one of these they are awesome. After all you can get your bike rides in a lot quicker now and I can see in the near future a class of these racing. Superminis Pinned at JS7's

This is what the sport is all about these are supermini riders that blow your mind when you can see what they are capable of doing.I think that someone out there should get a amateur channel or live feed so we can watch this racing all year round. I know it is great to watch the Pros race but I find it fascinating watching these amateurs start out on 50s and move up through the pack. Well hopefully for all of us motocross and supercross freaks something like this will happen. Motocross TV that would be a channel that I would be watching all year around.

Why is KTM Gaining Market Share in Motocross?

KTM is gaining market share in the motocross industry and I think there minis have something to do with it. It does happen to be the bike of choice for most average riders that do not have fully sponsored rides. Here is a blurb I got from Motocross Action.

You tell me in 2 different perspectives what is the camera man really shooting is the first question. I mean you have to admit half of the picture is one focus point the other half is another focus point I guess what do you see when you look at this picture. The second question what are the guys on the bike thinking when they drive by this women standing there in a 2 piece bathing suite.

Was it a Rumor That Reed would Join RCH

It was rumored that Reed would join RCH Racing, a team led by Ricky Carmichael and Carey Hart. The switch would have placed Reed back on a Suzuki for the first time since 2009 – a season in which he won three races and battled with rival James Stewart for the title, ultimately falling short by a mere four points.

Reed admitted that he was tempted by the package offered by RCH, but decided to pass on the opportunity.

Update on Ken Roczen

As we all know and have heard Ken Roczen crashed while he was practicing in florida and hurt his arm. As we all know the way rumors get spread, but after reading the article that Races X has shown it does not look like much to worry about. Team Geico how will the respond

Lets face it with a lot of the Geico riders moving up to the 450 class and Bogle just injured again they are putting a lot of pressure on a few guys to fill there shoes. Lets not forget Zach Bell young but still a awesome rider. I guess my question is will Zach Osborne and company be able to fill the shoes of Eli Tomac.

And Just remember they signed Blake Whortan when Justin Bogle got hurt I guess the only way to tell is watch this upcoming season in which hopes to be a crazy ride for all of us fans.

Getting Ready for the 2014 Supercross Season

Well supercross is approaching us slowly well that is how it seems to me with all the hype in the air of how great the competition is I am getting excited more and more each day. If the Monster Energy cup is a glimpse of what is to come hold on super cross fans we are in for a ride of our life. I think James Stewart was trying to make a statement in that race trying to get into Ryan Villipoto's head but Ryan is a remarkable rider I don't know if it can be done, but only time will tell. As Ken Roczen now pin a 450 and Eli Tomac also on a 450 will they put a dent in the already over talented class. There are too many good riders to list and we all know Ryan Dungy does not like second place is he ready to step up and challenge the leader too all here to come shortly. I myself, so pumped ready for action lets just hope there are no more injuries because it gets boring when it is a one man show. And for the 250's lets hope they hay the talent this year to make everyone watch close. Tell us who do you think is going to win and tell us all why.

My pick for the Diamond in the rough of MX

Well my good friend Donny Brown 381 who has had the worse luck the last couple of years is healing up from a brutal knee injury. Donny is a awesome person and about as friendly as you can get but with all the bad luck you can have in one year. It is so hard to find sponsors even though this kid won Daytona last year beating Alaxander Fry you would think it would be easy. A lot to do with this must be politics and who you know because with a riders capabilities that he possess blows my mind. Looking forward to going to Millcreek National again this year hoping Donny is back and ready he should be released early January, but we all know what happens when we rush injuries. Well I hope Donny gets a good ride this year and gets picked up by a big Factory it is well deserved. If this kid gets to be at a track to practice all the time who knows what he is capable of. 

When I went to Millcreek and they were all running mini's Donny Brown, Cooper Webb, and Adam Cianciarulo this is when I fully fell in love with the sport. I watched Donny and Cooper battling the hole race and Cooper just getting pass Donny on the last lap after Donny made just a little mistake yes these guys don't make many mistakes. I had to go meet Donny Brown and since then I help as much as I possible can which obviously is not enough he thanks me all the time just wish I could do more. Well if there are any teams out there looking for a incredible rider most people have heard of him he has an awesome attitude and a great family. Well till next time you guys have a wonderful day.

JGR's new Rider just Announced

The hot topic of the week is the JGR Toyota Yamaha has announced that Phil Nicoletti is joining there team. They announced this in a way that not many people expected them to announce but kudos for Phil to get that ride. Racer X has the insight and they thought it too was such a strange deal and did not know what the ma edits would be for this signing. Well I think it is beneficial for JGR because of course now they are getting write ups about this and talk to boost there team. I know they know what they were doing any publicity is good publicity but just think when you get publicity that people don't understand. They spread the news more to get other peoples info on what they think. So I guess I have to give a thumbs up to JGR for the marketing strategy they just played.

The Privateers

I just read an article written by Steve Matthes "There's a soft spot in the hearts of every motocross fan for the privateer, the riders and the teams that don't get any support from one of the five major manufactures. The notation of grabbing some tools, getting some bikes, and going up against the big-budgeted factory teams has been going on for as l;ing as there has been organized motocross racing."
This is what is all about the battle to reign at the top to get as much support as possible. Any help is better than none and the hell these guys out themselves through just to get there. +Motocross and Supercross is they toughest sport on the planet and the injury list goes on. You say why do they do this only each individual can answer that, but most I hear is the love for the sport, and every other sport it is about money and yeah you have to be dedicated.

Lets think about motocross they are all underpaid and they put on a hell of a show. Maybe the top 5 make a good living the rest make what they could be making working a good job. The only thing is in a good job you don't walk away with broken goes, confusions, and much more than I can list. So for anyone out there not giving these riders there due for giving us the pleasure of motocross. I just guess you don't understand what motocross is all about. Breaking news on Rockstar Rider Joey Savatgy

More bad news for KTM Rockstar Energy now that everyone knows that Davi Millsaps has a knee injury what is to plague them next. Well Joey Savatgy just suffered in a wreck at Milestone suffers from a broken wrist, an AC separation, broken ribs and partially collapsed lungs. The team has yet to release information on these injuries. Savatgy signed on with the team after having a unbelievable rookie year by winning the rookie of the year award.

Just another example of how hard these riders push themselves to be successful and the pain they go through to get on top. My hats off to you Joey Savatgy hope you have a quick and great recovery and to any other rider hurt while doing what they love.

Musquin at the Geneva SX in Switzerland

Redbull rider Marvin Musquin set out for the Geneva SX held in Switzerland with a vision in his head. By the end of the day with 1-2 in the main events came the King of Geneva and that was the boost that he needed to get just before the start of the Monster Enegy Supercross season of 2014. Lets see if the frenchman can maintain his momentum and keep on top for the 2014 super cross season. Hats of to you Marvin Musquin for one of the top riders in the world. 

The glimpse that brings back memories

Hello to all and hope everything is going well today. Well I was just watching a video at James Stewarts compound on motosport.com. Yeah I was there to shop and buy my son a couple more presents and I seen a video on the home page and watched it. I must say the more I watched I could not believe the talent that these riders posses. Zach bell was there taring it up and I mean he was tearing it up he looked insane on that Honda. I have always liked watching Zach he can ride like the wind the first time I saw him was at Elizibeth City. We were going to Tennessee to our friends house to do some riding and on our way down we stopped to Elizibeth City to race. This is wear we learned how fast the kids down south were compare to us.

My sons first race on the track in the first turn he said he heard a four stroke that sounded like a 450 going buy him but of course we all know it was a 150 because it was the super mini race. Yes it was none other that Cooper Webb and yes he was so fast I could not believe it he was doing things that I could not believe. Then I watched Zach Bell he was parked right across from us and he too was on top of his game, but that was the start of it all because we were headed to Tennessee with outré friends then going to Mill Creek the first national we went to in Pell City, Alabama. That is a whole different story to talk about and one that I would never forget.

Redbull KTM adds a new rider to there team

Yes KTM has added a new rider to there 250 team since Ryan Dungey and Ken Roczen acre now there 450 riders, yes Roczen is on a 450 now were he feel most comfortable. Now the new edition Dean Ferris at the age of 23 from Australia will be riding next to Marvin Musquin in the 250 class. This looks to be a good year for the Redbull team we will all be awaiting the final result. Well we all wish Dean Ferris a great welcome to the US and hope to catch you in some motos.

Motocross Christmas Shopping

Well the last couple days I have been trying to figure out what to get my kid for christmas in motocross apparel. I have been shopping non stop to find him the hoodies and t-shirts that all associate themselves with motocross. I also picked up some SIDI boots he really likes them and of course Oakley air betake goggles. Some of this equipment is really pricey but we all know what we do for our kids. It just feels like you never get enough even though all parents know what they spend I guess learning the cut off is most important. The problem is being a 15 year old boy is what can you buy for them but a lot of clothing. If anyone has any ideas let me know I will take any advise.

Well I am going to cut this one short hope you all have a great day I  have been up all night on the web doing some shopping after all none of my local shops carry clothing. Just to keep the record straight I do buy everything I can at my local shops to keep them in business, and order all my parts through them too, but when it comes to christmas it is hard for them to get items in and you have to find places online that carry what you are looking for, but I do suggest please go to your local dealer first and see what you can get from them. They are there to help and if you have problems it seems easier to talk to them than someone on the computer.

Let Him Stay or Let Him Go The MotoLife

Well here I sit again another day to feed my addiction to the computer and hopefully entertain an idea to ignite a spark to something I still can not catch. Yeah I just don't have a clue what to do with my son about riding down south. To make a long story short I was approached yesterday by a pro rider that is a local pro rider if I help him a little with sponsorship he will take my son to Florida or Georgia with him next month and train him for that entire month. See now that puts me in a couple predictions because I know owning a business that is open 7 days a week and I am there from dusk to dawn it sounds like a great idea. That is the first thing that enters my mind how can I beat that my son who is now 15 gets free training and gets to go down south and do what he loves. Yeah being up here in upstate New York with all this snow just don't cut it. So my first instinct was kind of exhilarating. Yeah the one that makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside, but then my parental instincts has to come along and mess things up.

Yeah then the other thoughts come to you the next was money, and how much will this venture take. I am sure around 10,000 that is what seems to be coming into my brain right now and still that is not that bad, well compared to the other thought I have. Yes that is my son leaving for a month without me. It has been me and him now for about 8 years on our own when me and my ex divorced, and trust me that was a good thing we were not intended to be together. Now saying this he has never stayed anywhere except when I was in the hospital for my kidney transplant then he stayed with his mother. So now that I we approached yesterday about this and all excited for him and I would love to see him improve now the crazy thought of him being gone is driving me nuts. I know your kids drive you nuts and your like oh just go away, but now the chance has approached me and I will be meeting with this rider next week I do not know what to do. Well if any of you parents out there have been through this or something like this let me know what you think.

Motocross The Best Sport Ever

Well as we all know the injuries every year keep building up on these pro motocross riders makers you wonder why they do it. Do they really love the sport that much or as they were growing up they just got so good and now they make a good living at doing it. Well my guess would be number one that they love the sport because there are very few that make the big bucks. These riders all have had major injuries and the punishment there bodies take are incredible and they do it for not only the love of the sport but for us fans. So I totally commend all the action of all motocross racers for giving me the thrill of watching the most intense motor sports I can ever imagine. This is not for just the pros but for the weekend worriers who are out there giving it there all too. I would love to start a reality show on the life of a motocross rider. Yeah if the public could really see what these athletes go through it would change there mind.

I think that motocross is starting to bet bigger every year after all it did take a while to catch on, but I am not complaining just keep hoping it grows. Maybe someday they will have a motocross channel that shows not only the pro riders but the amateur circuit too. I do my best to help riders and try to get them to the track we all know not everyone can afford this sport, but if I was rich I would help so many people that I know could be on top but just can not afford to do it right now. So if there are any rich people out there looking to sponsor a rider or two I know some down south I am sure they would be much oblige to get some help too. See it is not always the best riders that advance it is like life you have to be in the right place at the right time. There are so many riders out there that are remarkable but only get a chance to race once in a while and don't ever train. If these sponsors would do there homework they can find riders that would be on top of there game, but any way I give all I can to the sport wish a lot more people would do that too and this is not directed towards anyone just wish there were a lot more rich people involved. Lets face it the bigger motocross and super cross gets the bigger sponsors start to jump in. It is openly fair that they get there name out there for doing what they do to help., but for any one involved in motocross you get my vote. Have a great day and hope your ride will never end.

Motocross Dad Looking for Some Answers

There are groups out there like +Motocross and Supercross and these are people sharing the same passion that I share. I would to them kudos for having a great blog that I can read when I feel the need to be at the track. I am a motocross dad and been in this sport for a long time, but I live in upstate New York were we get a lot of snow and con not ride in the winter. Well this gets tougher every year because my son wants to go to GPF "Georgia Practice Facility" to train and ride, and you know what I can not blame hime. So for all you motocross riders out there that re stuck up here in the snow because you have too many things going on and you just can't leave I FEEL YOUR PAIN. So they say that the most important time of your life is the days you spend with your kid and don't give them up for anything.

Well the thing is we can't just all do that with family sickness and work we all have to contend with. So my goal is to figure out how to make it all happen. So me as a motocross enthusiast would like to know just how. Yeah I have been banging my ear off this computer for two months now trying to figure out what to do, and I just come up with blanks. Maybe I should start a T.V. show about amateur racing any get a sponsor to shoot it there are a lot of catagories I can watch on the television so that is what I will do. If anyone has any good ideas about a show let me know I will see what I can do to get it done.

The journey through our thoughts

You know here I sit 6:00 am in the morning thinking for a couple hours of what to do next. See I am in a conundrum because I own a Hobby shop that is the first problem, but most people would not say thats a problem. My father is 88 and my mother is 86 and my mother has elsheimer disease and dementia and my father is now starting to lose his mind. The thing that is killing me most is my son wants to go to GPF to train we have only went once for a month because I have so many things going on I can not get the chance to go. I so want to go to but he thinks well just go he does not understand that I really want to but under all the mess that us adults try to sort out kids just point aim and click. I am just trying to figure out how to make this all work but I too now really want to go.

Everyday at work all I here is I want to ride and all I see is videos on the computer of all his favorite motocross riders. Everyone tells me too bad for him he is just a kid but lets all face it we have been through this before. You can not have these moments back again and weather your rich or poor I think you should make best of the chances you get. The more and more I think about the more and more I think that being with your son and enjoying life is most important because I come to realize someday hear soon he will have his own family and will not be around much. The all the things we have done will always be going through my mind and not the things we did not do. So as all these things that constraint us from enjoying life I think you just have to say …… well you know what that is and do it. I think after writing this blog it is time to put a plan together to head to the warmth of the South.

Okay today we all know that motocross is an expensive sport and everyone likes to get sponsors it just sounds good and makes you feel good. There is a website called MXSponsors.com that helps a lot of people get sponsored, but lets think about it. This is just another way for all the companies to make there money by saying your sponsored and cutting out the dealer. They give there sponsored drivers the same price as the dealer gets. So think about it the only one losing out is your dealers. I am glad that they are out there for the riders but who are they really helping but themselves. I know it is business and this is the way the world revolves I have to admit my son use to use this sight a while ago.

Well now that we know the sponsors can not sponsor everyone they just don't have it because there are so many people that want to get sponsored. So they found a happy medium were they can help without losing any money but I would like to know if this hurts the dealers at all not saying it does just a question. I was wondering who to ask to see what kind of results I would get get back. Well anyways at least there is a place to go to get some sponsors after all any help is better than none. This goes out to all the motocross riders that have to struggle to make it to the track just to race. Please let me hear about I sympathizes with you and this is why I started this blog to hopefully get big someday and throw all the money I can raise to the amateur motocross racing. Even if I can put some television shows together for amateur racing and I have a couple ideas that I think would be great. Then again that is in my head maybe it won't work at all, but I seen things on the Howard Stearn show like throwing Bologna on to a women's ass work so who knows what could happen. Hello again and today I want to start out by writing about the amateur racing and what drives motocross racers to do the things they do to get on top. There seems to be a lot of reasons motocross racers race and a lot of them a great reasons but there is always the one reason that is not the best. Well at least it might not start out that way just ends up that way. Yes I am talking about some of the parents that are screaming and yelling at there kids when they make mistakes. The one thing that I hate most is to see a young motocross racer crying because there father or mother flipped out on them after the race. Don't these parents know that there is enough pressure on these kids already. Believe it or not this sport is not recreational anymore when you are trying to be good you have to be on your game. It is very expensive for training and gear besides the cost of bikes, motor work, and too many more things to list. Yes I can understand some of the yelling it is racing it is competition but some over do it a little too much. The last thing about that is I know we haves all seen it when a kid falls and gets hurt and the parent is screaming to get back on the bike and get going. STOP right there I have heard enough that is right we are talking about little kids well at least thats what I am talking about never can you justify screaming at your little one when he is hurt from a motocross accident. For most of the parents that don't even ride jump on the bike then and show them how its done I am sure they would enjoy giving it back to you when you fall.

Okay enough about that now too all the ones who race because they love it and are so competitive, and you have the ones who do it because they love to have fun. They do not care if they win they just enjoy riding and being around all there friends. There is nothing wrong with that I don't know how to explain this everyone wants to win don't get me wrong but there are a lot that except that they are not going to win and they are going to give it there best. If them motocross racers did not exist there would not be a lot on the line to race. Well at big events you will still get the good numbers but not at your local tracks. Most of the motocross racers have that competitive drive to win.They will do what it takes to succeed and push themselves to the limit. The beauty of that is it drives them to be the best they can be. We all know that not everyone can be the best but we have to fit in the ladder somewhere so by doing everything you can to get to where you are that jus a satisfying feeling. For some they will never stop trying to give up and that too is remarkable, but I have to say the determination these motocross riders have are unbelievable and people think that motocross racers are not n shape. Well all I have to say is go out and ride a bike for one race and you will see what kind of shape these guys and girls are in. My hats off too all of you riders that give me the satisfaction of not only watching my son race, but too watching all of you go give it your all. I have to say seeing your smiles on your face at the motocross track enjoying life with your friends and family definitely leave a place in my heart.

Pain and Agony what else to look forward too.

Hello how are all of you doing I am a Motocross enthusiast that has been around this sport for 40 years and I must say it seems to get harder and harder everyday. The difference between me and most enthuses they jump on the band wagon with all of the most popular riders which is most of the world, but me I love the amateur racing this is were it all begins. I do not think people realize how tuff a sport motocross really is and the punishment they put there bodies through. The problem is there are way too many riders and not enough sponsors. We all know how hard it is to pick up a real sponsor to get anywhere in life they look at all aspects of the rider. If you don't have money you are already passed up and have no chance if you can not make all the big races how do you get sponsored. Oh and as for everything else politics always sets in too what is going on. Well here I can say my piece and not have to worry about it I will be a little generous today and not throw companies under the bus for how they work nor will I slam anyone in the way they handle there business, but in the future I feel that this could all change.

If there are any motocrossers out there that totally agree and know exactly what I am talking about now is the time to make a stand. Please follow this blog and give me feedback I have been there and done that and know how it all works. I have found riders that are incredible can not afford to practice or even hardly race but still qualify up front at the nationals. This my friend are diamond in the rough and some day I hope to have a lot of money so I can help some of these riders and you know not saying they are going to be the best in the world but I want to make a difference. Way too many riders getting hurt and dying for many different reasons and how hard they have to train to get there is ridiculous and you know what people like RedBull that makes this sport crazy. Well you know what I understand they can only help so many people but I got question for all of the motocross world when is the last time any big sponsors took a chance on someone that was run through there program and did not have to deal with any politics.

Well I have said enough today but tomorrow let the fun begin and if there are any sponsors out there that want to let me show them diamonds in the rough I know a lot of them down South wish I could be there right now too.
