Mini O's: First Moto's and Last Chance are finished.

Practice started Monday November 24, 2014 and as you can hear the engines roar and the smell of the fuel the crowd began to get ancy. After all the best amateur riders of all classes are here to win bragging rights. There are too many people to list all the factory amateur riders whip have the top equipment compared to the solo guy who can just afford to race. Well we have no complaints my son had someone wreck right in front of him so started dead last. They were taking the top eight in each moto there are three divisions of riders in his class. My son moved up from last place to 4th place and earned a spot in the main which is being run tomorrow November 26t, 2014 and he is the third moto. So we will find out how he does it has been raining nonstop for over 13 hours I have a feeling it is going to be all mud. Well stay tuned for the results weather they are good or not.

What was Ken Roczen deciding factor?

Well as we can all see now in every sport the statement "SHOW ME THE MONEY" has come to life. I see that Ken Roczen who just won a championship is now going to RCH to ride Suzuki. Dont get me wrong I like all the brands just thought it was weird to win a championship then leave. So I did a lot of research like everyone else did and what I think the route to all trouble is there managers. Yes you see as most of the blue collar workers or anyone in general the grass is not always greener on the other side. I am hoping Ken puts up another great year because he truly is one of the best riders, but what I would love to know and probably a lot of you would like to know what drives these guys to make change. I can see if they are not doing well and comfortable then that is a fact but there has to be something going on. On the other hand how much money is it worth for a team to keep the man that just won a champion ship and looks to be a strong rider for years to come. I guess if we all had those answers there would be nothing to write about. Well lets all hope supercross this coming year will keep us all on the edge.

How to get into the Motocross world?

Sorry guys it has been a long time since I have been on just trying to figure out what I want to do most in motocross. I know that there are a lot of things about motocross that we love, but finding that one thing that makes you be round out at all times is what I search for. I have been a business owner for over 20 years and have loved motocross my hole life. I have been to tracks all over the United States and have always had the passion to work in the motocross industry. I have finally decided to try to find what I have been desiring for so long. I do not care what I have to do to start my new adventure because I know once I am in I will move up the ladder. I know you have to start somewhere and I am prepared to do so. If there are any suggestions in how to make this happen they are all welcome. So hope to hear from all of you motocross fans.

The loss of another young rider.

Okay guys all week I have wanted to say something but did not know how to say it we were at a the regional in Indiana this weekend the brand new track Iron Man. There was a 14 year old kid that died this past weekend and it is driving me nuts. It seems like everything is getting so fast now and you have to be training everyday. I dont know when I go to the track now and see how fast these kids are and people are getting hurt real bad and even losing there life. I know they love the sport but i guess sometimes you have to look to see if the rewards are worth the pain. If only everyone could see what these kids go through and the pin they have for the rest of there life after racing is over. Well I guess I have said enough and all prayers go out to the family who just lost a member I can not imagine going through a tragedy like that.

How can Motocross and Supercross riders get what they deserve !!

Okay motocross and supercross fans maybe you can help me figure out something that really has me puzzled or maybe there is a way to change how it works. If you are a motocross rider you know how much work and effort goes into what you are trying to do and what a life changing schedule that you have to follow. Enough of that what really gets me is how much money the other sports pay compared to motocross. Even the people on the bench watching make more money than all motocross riders except the very few which maybe the top ten. When you go to a supercross event the stadiums are packed full and the motocross events are the same way. I am just wondering were the money is going for these events and how they work. Maybe they should have a meeting of the minds and try to figure out how to make this sport even bigger and better not just for the fans but foe the racers themselves. They are on the track giving it there all and they do love what they do, but it takes a special person to be able to qualify for the main events. Well I was just wondering if anyone has any solutions to help make this sport the biggest sport of all time.

Loretta Lynn's let the madness begin

Well as most of the motocross fans and racer knows that the Loretta Lynn area qualifiers are starting and the Amateur racing has begun hard core. This is a privilege to make it to the LLQ and it takes a lot of hard work and training. I know that everything is all about the money because you can go anywhere and qualify just in case you don't succeed in your district you can go to another district and I can totally understand that so they get the best of the best. There is only one flaw with AMA and I know they can not make everything perfect it is just too hard. It seems like the classes in the upper states that get snow 5 months a year are a lot slower that the southern classes that get to practice all year around. The problem is that AMA is always bumping people up because of the wins or the bar is just not set high enough. If they can figure out how to put you in a class because of your speed not how many times you win it will give the hole USA a better chance for everyone. This will also take the people that are sand bagging and move them into the right class. Yeah everyone knows it goes on I see people in the C class scrubbing like you can not believe and when a C rider is as fast as over half the B riders they should be bumped up. I know there really is no way to fix this but if there was I am sure they would have done it. Well if anyone has some insight on what they think please do tell I would like to hear it.

Yet another night of Supercross I can not forget.

Well last night was a pretty impressive night in Supercross in Canada and it will be a night that most will not forget. As we all seen Adam C get hurt and pop his shoulder back in then go out and give it his all, but in too much pain to ride kudos for the youngster who tried to get it done. Then Blake B another Kawasaki Monster rider with bad luck after falling gets his bike ran over and rips the throttle right off. Finally Justin Bogle gets his first win and well deserved the Honda Geico rider now sitting only a 5 points out of first. Then RV to be able to come to the track so sick that nobody thought he would race and take home a 6th place that people is heart and determination weather you are a RV fan or not that was well deserved. Now to top it all off again weather you like this man or not JS7 put on a show and he did it in style. He once again showed he is the fastest man on the planet when it comes to supercross and week after week he puts in the fastest laps. Yes if you can take some of those crashes out of his year he would be riding with the red number plate, but we all know things happen. By taking over RC for most wins he my friends did it in style and always doing things that one else can do. Until next time hope to have yet another memorable race for the record books.

Looking for a MX Training Facility

Well I have been doing a lot of thinking lately and some traveling with my kid to some races down south and now that I am home in all this snow and cold weather. I would rather be down in the warm weather watching motocross or supercross. I just wish there was some way I can make money watching what I love so much. So I thought of an idea that might be just what I need, but the truth is finding a deal is not so easy. I want to buy a motocross training facility with a motocross track, supercross track, and a corner track. This is not easy to find or at least enough property at a great price so I can make an awesome facility. I think you can make money this way, but most important I can be doing what I really love to do. So if there are anyone out there that has some information on a great deal just let me know. The Pourcel's house I already know about but even though it is beautiful you can not build anymore on that property. Well to all you motocross fans have a great day and keep your eyes and ears open for me.

Daytona Here We Come

Well we are here at Daytona getting ready for the Supercross race on Saturday and the weather is suppose to be beautiful this weekend. I can not wait and after watching #94 winning Atlanta I can not wait to see who wins today. Well I really do not have any favorites but I enjoy all the good racing this year. After the race we have to prepare for Sunday when my kid races the Amateur race at Daytona and that should be another long day, but fun after all we are at a Supercross race. So hope to see some of you there and have a great day. Daytona Supercross here we come.

Off to the South for a couple weeks

Well I leave for Tennessee today to see my son in which I have not seen in a couple weeks now. It is a very packed time when we get there we get to rest for a little bit then we leave for the Atlanta Supercross race. After the Atlanta race we are going to Monster Mountain to ride on Sunday, and hopefully the weather is really great that is al I can hope for at this time. Well Monday we will be at the Mill Creek National for early sign up and we will remain the hole week for practice and then racing, and then we are off tho Florida for the race in Daytona which will be the next Amateur National following Mill Creek. Then I am off to home were I have a big RC Event to run which is called the Hillbilly Hoedown and I can tell you right now that is going to be a fun event.

What a race in Texas was the 250 class really a surprise

Well as we all know another great night in the books of motocross racing, and even though your favorite might not of win you have to enjoy the fierce competition. I guess in the 250 class a very happy moment for the young rookie AC to get his first heat win and first Monster Energy Supercross win. After all he did break all the records as a amateur rider and is now training with RV and Ken Roczen what else could you expect but a good finish. In the 450 class JS7 pulls off another impressive win lets see if JS7 he can keep him self together and not over ride he just might have a run for the championship this year, and all the people that said he should retire he will never win again I guess he proved that wrong, but season is not over yet lets see if he can stay with RV next week when the dirt gets bite. No rely predictions yet I really have to put more thinking into this one I have only been right once this year, and it just seems to get harder every week who to pick.

Who Is Going To Be On There Game Tonight In Texas?

Again another long week of waiting for the 250 and the 450 gate to drop, and all the anxiety built up inside because of the competition has been so fierce so far. Now making his first debut the long awaited rookie Adam Cianciarulo who in his amateur career was unstoppable. So now we have just another factor added to the already unbelievable racing that has been going on all year. So I guess my pick for tonight 450 class will be simple I have to go with RV even though I am hoping for one of the Orange machines, yes Roczen or Dungey. Just don't count out JS7, Reed, Brayton, and Barcia who is going to have a bust out race sometime soon we have all been waiting for it. Now the 250 class again a lot of great drivers and all the controversy that Adam Cianciarulo caused in the outdoor season, and training with RV and Roczen. I guess we all have to find out if this kid is all he is made up to be and tonight is the night we will find out. I know he is a rookie that has a lot of pressure to perform after all he is Kawasaki's new rider that they are depending on taking over RV spot here in the near future. Well I have to say is once that 30 second card goes up the heart starts pounding.

Looking For A Full Blown Mod 250f

I am trying to find a full blown mod KTM 250sxf like the ones the professionals ride, but it seems to be harder than you can imagine to find one of these bikes. I did find Chad Reeds 450f Honda which is really cool, but I am looking for a 250f preferably a KTM. I really need one for my son for the motocross which will be starting in about 3 months. Well if you know anyone getting rid of a factory bike please let me know I am really interested. Or if you have any suggestions on who will build the best bike I might have to take that route too.

Arlington, Texas Here They Come

Well now we are off to Arlington, Texas were another round of AMA Supercross in what has been its most rewarding season in the last decade. It seems that the fan favorite for this year has been Chad Reed, but just not to many years ago that was a lot different. So I wonder what makes all the fans change to him being a favorite just maybe I think it might be his age. After all we all have a little excitement left in our lives and just want to see a victory for there generation. I can not just choose one person anymore to win they are all so talented. We are getting closer to the east coast and this is were RV shines his best, but lets just hope all the riders dig down deep and make this a race to the end. This should help boost the dirt bike action to gain an already fast growing audience. It seems year after year this industry is finally growing, but what a long time it took to get the publicity it is finally starting to get. So all you fans hold on I think this is going to be a historic year one you will never forget. The only thing we can wish for is that we have many more years of this type of competition. AT&T Stadium here we come watch us hear us roar and feel the thunder. I just have a crazy feeling this week that Ken Roczen is going to take this one home, but I don't know why that is just my pick.

Dyno Test Results: Is This The Answer You Were Looking For

Okay I just got the new chart that tells the horsepower of all the race bikes, and this was in Dirt Rider magazine they used FMF's dyne to put out the numbers. I don't have to tell you the results the picture will tell them for you, but what I always wondered when you read the magazine articles on all the shootouts what do you believe. I know we all thrive to see our machines on top of the list, and even after we read the article who really believes what they say. Everyone has there favorite bike and they are going to dispute it in there head saying things like the winner must have paid them more money in advertising this year. Well not saying that is true but who knows all I know is that all the bikes we see in the pro races are nothing like what they test in the magazine. I also want to say I don't care if you have the fastest bike in the world if you can not ride it to its potential does it really matter just enjoy the brand you like. Just remember anything that they say is wrong with the bike there is always a fix so with all the battling going n with all the different manufactures I would like to know what is your favorite manufacture.

PR2 Something you Might Want To Know

Okay I really do not want to start a problem, but what really bothers me now days is the customer support you get with what you pay for. People use there hard earn money to pay for things to make there dirt bikes better or actually whatever they like most it all cost money. So I have to make a complaint against PR2 which really has disappointed me with they way they take care of customers. I was at a race last year in Mill Creek which is located in Pell City, Alabama and it is a great National event we go to every year. I bought a bike for Downtown Donny Brown from Colton Ford because he decided not to race anymore. This motor built by PR2 has a lot of money put into it, and Donny Brown 381 was on the line the gate dropped and he was out of the hole in forth by half a lap into third. Then he was passing for second in the bull turn which is a little more than half the track and the hole top end blew out of the motor. Well in my opinion what you pay that much money for a motor I thought no problem lets go over to PR2 and have them take a look. I was shocked when they were not willing to do a thing about it and they pretty much said to bad. So anyone that uses PR2 I do think they do great suspension work, but to not stand by there motor was not a good thing. So I have to thank the KTM Orange Brigade crew who ended up tearing Donny's bike down and putting it all back together. Even though it was now stock and not all modded out he at least got to run. Thank you again for the amateur KTM team for all the help and sorry PR2 you will never get my business again or anyone that ask me for a motor referral, and I use to think you were great people to deal with.

This was Daytona 2013 Donny won the 250B class after leaving Mill creek

JS7 Gets His First Win Of The Year

James Stewart finally gets  win fir the year, and I have to admit the top 5 riders are all so fast it is hard to choose who will win the event. Ryan and James had an excellent race while Roczen was on the charge then he flattened out allowing Reed and Dungey to close in. I have to say this crew has made this one of my favorite years so far with the closest competition in a long long time. Kudos to all of the riders this year for bumping up there game, but RV loves the east coast dirt has a lot more traction will they still be able to give him a run when they get there. I guess we will soon find out.

Day 2 For My Kid's Journey To Tennessee To Ride Motocross

Well day two of my kid going to Tennessee and they stayed in Ohio last night, but they did not leave until around 1:00 pm. Yeah they got a late start but called me around ten to let me know they were in Ohio and they were getting hop at 4 am to head out again. So it looks like they have been on the road for about 4 hours already this morning. They should be arriving around 4 today and I will be more at ease. I have races today to run at Redneck RC my hobby shop and that will make the day go by a lot faster. So sorry to torture all of you with my story but this is the first time he has ever went anywhere without me and it just feels weird. I thought he would be the one calling and wanting to come home , but I can see it now I will be planning a trip down there in the near future.

Trying To Prepare For The Amateur Nations

Well it is friday now my kid was headed down south to Tennessee and for the second time on his way down the diesel van broke down. He is very discouraged after all he is attending the national in Pell City, Alabama known as Mill Creek. This is one of his favorite tracks but with all these set backs he feels he will not get the practice he needs before the race. So now with the van in the shop just waiting for the prognosis so I can get it fixed and get him down there it is a sad time in the house hold.

Who Will Be Taking Home The Red Number Plate After San Diego

Well I know it is only Wednesday but the racing has been so good. I am already getting pumped to watch the race coming up at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, CA. They are headed to Texas after that. Well anyways back to the point who is going to leave San Diego with the red number plate this week. There has been so many riders that have picked up the pace but RV  said he can not wait to get to the east coast, he likes the dirt a lot better. RV might be hard to beat on the east coast because the dirt seems to have a lot more traction and he rides wide open which the tackier dirt gives him the traction he enjoys. So after San Diego they are headed that way lets hope the racing stays awesome and no one runs away this championship.

MX Vs. ATV Returning With Supercross In 2014

When THQ folded up shop earlier this year, many franchises went dormant as a result, including the engaging MX Vs. ATV racing series. However, Nordic Games will soon rev it back up to full speed.
The publisher announced today that it will bring back the racing franchise with MX Vs. ATV Supercross, which will debut on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC/Mac next year. The game will feature various multiplayer racing events, as well as the return of the Motoclub Depot and plenty of events.
Various members from the former MX Vs. ATV team in Phoenix have returned for the project, carrying the same vision that we've come to expect from the mud-slinging series.
"The hiatus is over, and the team is back to work on MX Vs. ATV with great new things to come," said the company in a statement. The goal is to take the franchise "to even greater heights while retaining the ingredients that made MX Vs. ATV so successful."
We'll have more coverage on the game in the months ahead. We welcome it back with open arms – although this shirt will probably get muddy.

MX Sponsors Please Fill Us In.

Well this is for all the riders out there that just can not catch a break. I know most people just read things then move on and do not comment, but I think we have to make a stand for whats write and what is wrong. Here I see it again and can not get any answers from any of the big sponsors. All I want to know is how they choose there riders there has to be some technique. Every time you ask they just will not answer if there is a reader out there that has any idea how to get them to talk please let me know. I would love to give all you fans a answer that is well deserved. They just give everyone politically correct answers like we will be watching you keep up the good work.

Reed Does It Again And A Rookie Was There To Pressure Him

Well after last night at A3 another shocking race to me, but all the fans really seem to like Chad Reed a lot. I myself would have never called that and the rookie Ken Roczen right on his tail the hole race tried to make a pass a couple times and Reed held him off. While RV was right behind them fell off the pace a little. JS7 and Ryan Dungey were both coming slowly but they were gaining, but after JS7 and Ryan Dungey got in there own wrecks caused by themselves gave breathing room to RV. The most shocking to me was they Reed and Roczen pulled away from Villipoto and we all know that does not happen. I have to say this has been the best year of racing I have seen in a long long time. I can not even wait until next week.

Kid Off To Tennessee To Train

Well today is my last day to hang around with my son he is going down south to train and we have never been apart. He is 15 now and I am excited for him going down on one hand because he loves motocross, but on the other hand I am starting to wonder how it is going to work out. I guess it is time to let him do his thing three months shouldn't be that bad after all I am going down in about 3 weeks for a couple weeks.

Who Is Your Pick For Anaheim 3 This Week

Well we are back at Anaheim stadium for the third time. The points are still really close and all the top riders are performing pretty well. So I guess I have to ask what is your pick this week to win Anaheim will it be RV, JS7, Reed, Roczen, Barcia. There are a lot of stars to pick from but I have to go with James Steart this week just because he has to put himself in a better position with that reck he had at the first race. The other question is who will leave with the red number plate this week.

Sponsors Please Tell Us Your Criteria!!

I guess since I got no response from any sponsors to help ask a couple easy questions. I don't know were else to turn I have Facebook them and Twitter then and hell even email them. All I want is a good answer in how they choose who they sponsor, but I do not think any of them will give us a response. I know that they have people they hire to do this so I am just asking that someone just give us a answer because most Morocross Racers would like to know. I am not talking about the racer list that you get a percentage off that is great for both rider and the companies because they are still making some money and the racers are getting a discount. I am actually talking about the big sponsors of motocross. Like Red Bull, Monster, Rockstar, Geiko, Orange Brigade, and the hundred others that I did not write down. I know it is impossible to sponsor a lot of people it cost money I just want to know the criteria you are looking for. I get so many people ask me to have Redneck RC my compony sponsor them but I can only help a few people because I am a small business. I will tell you my criteria is I help people I see that do not have rides and I can't understand why when they win national events and are right at the top of the race, but yet every event all these sponsored riders are getting beat by these riders who only get help by there parents. How does that happen so there has to be a reason why or a criteria they do not fit into. SO PLEASE TELL THE MOTOCROSS COMMUNITY HOW THIS WORKS.

Things That Sponsor's Want To Hear or Don't Want To Hear

Okay here is a question I would love for sponsors to answer, but they have not responded yet and I am still waiting. I made a post on a lot of the major sponsors Facebook and asked a question and they deleted the post with no response. All I asked is how do all the sponsors choose motocross riders I know that the top guys get chooses because of there riding ability, but that is not really what I want to know there are riders that are sponsored that are not on the top of the list. How do the politics work I have a friend down south I watch beat most of the amateur sponsors riders, but yet he does not get a good ride. I watched this kid on super minis battle with cooper web actually beating him unit the last lap were he made a slight mistake. I think I have a good idea why because you have to know someone to get on the inside and if you are not kissing there butt then it just dont work. I know this kid don't have a lot of money so I do what I can to help him and my last comment was so does it make you mad when a privateer beats your best rider and he could have been riding for you. I didn't say I watched it happen in which I did see it with my own eyes at Daytona and Mill Creek, but I must have hit a nerve because I got no response back, but I wrote it correctly and did not say anything against them I just asked them a=in question form to get a good answer. I would like to know what they need from a reader to get in there scope. If you have seen things like this then please we would all like to hear about it or if you are a sponsor I would love to hear your answer.

Recap Of Oakland: Dean Wilson What Do You Predict

Well last night at Oakland was a great race except once you let Villipoto out front there is usually no way to stop that man. I really thought Stewart looked great too and I thought he was going to real him in and make it a race, but that never happened. But I have to admit the races looked real good if RV would have had just a position or two less of a start we might have had a good race for first. Reed Looked great again this week. But the story of the night should be in the 250 class were Dean Wilson had that locked up for, but another disappointment with his bike stalling on the last lap. I am sure Anderson was happy now that he won and got the points lead back, but great ride for Wilson maybe a glimpse of the near future is he back.

Tonight At Oakland: Who Is Taking Home The Win?

Who is going to win in Oakland tonight. With so many great riders this year it is hard to choose the winner of Oakland. Will there be another new winner or someone going to be the first to get there second win. After all we still have Ryan Dungey and James Stewart looking for there first win, while you have Villipoto , Roczen, and now Reed trying to get there second win. Oh you can not leave Brayton or Barcia out they are also very fast. As Ken Roczen goes into Oakland with the red number pilate we will soon find out who leaves with that number plate. After all the top 5 area within 5 points from each other. Well I have been wrong for my winner of all three races so I am going to try a different method tonight. I can not imagine Ryan Villipoto losing two in a row so I guess I have to give him the pick for tonight, but I would really like to see another new face winning tonight. I guess only time will tell so lets hope this race is as good as all the rest so far this year. Let me know who you think is going to win and why you think they are going to take home the 1st place award tonight at Oakland.

ARE THE FACTORY STARS NICE GUYS?

Yes. It is the rare exception to find a factory rider that is a fat head (although they do exist). But, at some point in their careers every factory rider goes through the "full of himself" stage. They seem to grow out of this once the aura of everybody laughing at their jokes wears off. It may be surprising to find out that the two of the biggest stars of all-time, Jeremy McGrath and Roger DeCoster, have reps as the nicest guys to deal with.

IS THE MOTORCYCLE BUSINESS THE BEST ITS EVER BEEN?

No. There is no doubt that the motorcycle business is doing better than it has in a long time, but it is a mere shadow of what it was in the early 70s. In the early days of motocross, the manufacturers sold almost ten times more motorcycles than they do today. For example. Hodaka sold 10,000 units in a single years (and that was of 100cc trail bikes). Honda sold 94,000 Z50s in one year back in the good old days. Honda was close to selling one million motorcycles a year back in the 70s. Not today. Business is good, but not anywhere near as good as when Gary Jones, Marty Tripes, Marty Smith, Bard Lackey, Roger DeCoster and Mark Blackwell raced.
It should be noted that ATVs have drained off a large number of entry-level motorcycle sales. ATV sales are close to 400,000 units a year. Back in the 70s, there were no ATV sales.

Kawasaki and Chad Reed Celebrate a Victory at the 40th Anniversary of Monster Energy Supercross

Irvine, Calif. (January 20, 2014) – Round 3 of Monster Energy Supercross returned to Angel Stadium in Anaheim to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the sport on Saturday. Two-time supercross champion and Kawasaki mounted Chad Reed powered his KX™450F to his 42nd career supercross win, and his first in nearly two years. Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto worked his way into second place before a mistake dropped him to finish fifth. Jake Weimer charged to overcome a poor start and a late-race crash to finish 10th.
Back on Top
After Reed’s ninth place finish for Reed in Phoenix, the 2004 and 2007 supercross champion was looking to return to the podium. He battled forward to take the last qualifying spot in his heat race and looked consistent. Reed jumped out to a top-10 start in the main event and progressively and quietly picked off riders until the last five laps. Reed began reeling in the leader and made a pass stick with three laps remaining to take his 42nd supercross victory.

“41 wins have come easy, but 42? That one was sweet,” said Reed. “This was a long time coming and its so gratifying. I’m really proud of our team and the work we’ve done in the offseason. The Kawasaki is proven. Ryan has dominated on it and I’m happy to now win on the KX™ and hope to continue to grow.”

Jason Anderson Officially Docked Two Positions At Anaheim 2

As mentioned in our post Saturday night after the Anaheim II Supercross, Jason Anderson was officially penalized today (Sunday, January 19) by the AMA for jumping a section of the track while the red-cross flag was being waved for a down rider. Another racer, Chris Proscelle, was also penalized for the same reason.
The AMA determined that Anderson, who finished second in the 250 West main and was leading the 250 West Supercross Championship, had jumped out of a rhythm section when he was supposed to have “rolled” the obstacle. The AMA used footage from Anderson’s own helmet-mounted camera to help verify the infraction, Cycle News learned.
According to a spokesperson from Anderson’s Rockstar Energy Racing Team, the team does not plan to appeal.
As a result, Anderson was dropped from second to fourth in the race results, costing him four points in the standings. He is now one point behind new class leader, Cole Seely.

The Road To Tennessee: The First Time Leaving!

Well my son may be headed to Tennessee to do some training with Downtown Donny Brown, and then he will be going to Georgia and practice with Rob Stillwell. This is going to be hard because my son always wants to train, but with my parents being in there eighties and me owning a hobby shop it is hard to bring him. Now that he is 15 this will be the first time he will be gone with out me. This is what he really wants I don't know how it will be not being around him everyday, but sometimes we have to do what we have to do to make your kids happy. I will be meeting him down there for the nationals though so no matter what is going on here I have to get out for a couple weeks. Well to all the parents that go through this if you have any feedback please let me know and good luck to all you young riders out there working your buts off to entertain us.

RV Crashes Twice At Anaheim II

This was an amazing race with another different winner even though Chad Reed is not my favorite rider you can not take anything away from that ride he was amazing. This blog is not about that it is about RV wrecking two times in that race, but the one that really catches my eye is with Stewart. People are going to say JS7 kicked RV over because it kind of looks like that but the way it looked to me is that when RV ran into JS7 that JS7 was trying to put his foot back on the peg. I think for protection but RV's wheel kind of sucked his foot in like RC said during the race and I do not think he actually kicked RV over. Well everyone is going to see that different I would like to know what you think about that, but at the end when Ryan Dungey slammed into him. I was really surprised about that was Ryan Dungey actually making an aggressive pass or was it an accident. I don't know but the pressure is on and there is so many top notch racers this year I am so excited after the race to watch the next one. On that note the 250 class is also been some awesome racing with Anderson and Seeley I think this is also going to be one of the greatest battles of the century.

Anaheim 2 Angel Stadium: Who Leaves With The Red #1 Plate Tonight!

Back at Anaheim California tonight for the third round of Monster Energy Supercross. The last couple weeks it has been some good racing, and a lot of people picked Ryan Villipot to win because what is the chance of him losing twice in a row. Well this week I am picking James Stewart just because he has to have a great run and he is fast just needs a better start. This is going to be another great race, they have to hold Ryan Villipoto from getting another good start. When Ryan Villipoto gets out front it is almost impossible to pass him Ryan is either loved by his fans or hated. I just think that happens to all great racers no matter what sport it is, because there are a lot of people that just get bored with the same people winning all the time it happened to RC and JS7, but now it is RV's turn. So let me here who all of you think is going to win I will stick with my choice after looking at the track I feel JS7 actually has a good chance. My favorite rider is Roczen and Dungey that is because I am a KTM fan after all we all like our own bike manufacturers and most of us stick by what we like. But do not get me wrong I love to see great racing it is just a bonus when my guys are up there battling too. Have a great night and prey to the gods that they give us a race we all want to see.

Do MX Companies Ever Retaliate When Their Products Or Events Get A Bad Review?

You bet. I heard in a story I read that a magazine crew was banned from the Supercross series twice. The first ban lasted over a  half season before the promoters finally gave in. The next and most recent ban lasted for a full season is why they were saying. Banning really never works because they have to be honest about what they write. And for a company I can understand when their products and bikes get a bad review, its not uncommon for a company to get mad, but to pull all of their advertising I just do not think that is right. We can never make everyone happy and usually some criticism will allow them to make a better product. They have said over there time of being in business, every major motorcycle manufacturer has stopped talking totem at least once. I am sure this is what happen to all the magazines that write about everything, and this is why they sugar coat everything so it does not sound so bad. When reality if the product or bike sucks they should just say they suck and that will allow them to make a better product. The problem is for the fans they all have there favorite motocross bike and they always say how close it is why not just say the truth this is the winner not followed closely behind comes this bike then this and so on. The saddest thing i that when they open there letters they are afraid of whats in there because of what they wrote.

They all feel bad when they give a product, rider, race or bike a bad review, but they are not in the good news business. They are trying to provide motocrossers with accurate and honest information, and that their is what they do to inform motocross world what is going on

ANAHEIM 2 ANIMATED TRACK MAP: Who Is Your Pick

This is the track map for Anaheim 2 and it looks pretty technical so leaving that not it i time to find out who everyone top 3 picks are. The 450 class have been the best racing I have seen in years and there are a lot of fast racers this year in my opinion probably the most talented field ever to race together. What I mean by that is there are so many people that could win it is hard to decide. So I am going to make my prediction for this week. I thin the top 3 in order are going to be James Stewert sitting in first, Ryan Villipoto will take second place, and Ryan Dungey will end up in third. I am just looking for a new winner this week having three different winners the first three races. So let me here your picks who do you think is going to win this week.

AT HOME WITH JUSTIN BARCIA: GOPRO HERO 3+

Getting prepared for the new year takes countless hours of hard work, and the top riders in the sport have preferred locations where they turn laps. Team Honda Muscle Milk’s Justin Barcia retreated to his spread in rural Georgia, where a number of Supercross and motocross courses are laid out on the plot of acres, and clicked off as many laps as he could before the Anaheim One opener. What’s it look like to take on a private course on a factory bike? See for yourself in this GoPro video, courtesy of Team Honda. Just click the link below.

KASPER LYNGGAARD, RIP: Another Lost Rider

January 10, 2014
We are sad to report of the passing of Kasper Lynggaard, a motocross racer from Denmark who was killed this afternoon during practice at the Dortmund Supercross in Germany. According to several Europe-based websites, Lynggaard, who rode for the Danish team in the 2013 Motocross of Nations in Germany, was practicing in Dortmund when he crashed in the whoops. His heart apparently stopped at the moment of impact with the ground, and despite the best efforts of paramedics on the scene, he could not be revived.

Chase Field, Race Number 2: Brayton Was that For Real

Well I did not know what to expect going into this race with so many talented stars to pick from. But one stood out at the end of the race that not many people would have picked yeah Thats right Justin Brayton just another talented supper cross rider that just rose to the top. Was this just a fluke or Justin going to give some stiff competition to the already list of probably the most talented class of 450 riders ever to race. Everyone is expecting Ryan Villipoto to steel the show and everyone knows he can, but I have to give thumbs up to Justin Brayton for staying right there Ryan Villipoto to the end. I would have never expected for Justin to Hold off Dungey, but I was wrong once again. Well until next week we will just have to see if Justin just had an exceptional night or if he will make another podium. I know for sure that all the Yamaha fans are happy, and I must admit I really like seeing new faces put themselves on the podium. So you fans tell me do you think out was just a fluke or is Brayton going to be someone to recon with.

WHAT IS BEST BIKE EVER MADE?

Through a lot of research I will Give my favorite bike starting with the 1981 Maico 490, but it is in a close battle with the 1973 Honda CR125, 1981 Suzuki RM125, 1987 Honda CR250,  1996-thru-2000 Yamaha YZ125s, and 2010-11 KTM 450F. Tell me who you think made the best bike ever. Here is a link to Motocross action and they give you the best Motocross bikes in the past 34 years.

WHO IS THE GREATEST MOTOCROSSER OF ALL-TIME?

I think that was a matter of opinion up until Ricky Carmichael dominated the sport. Then came along James Stewart who they called the fastest man on the planet. Now you have Ryan Villipoto who seems to be winning all the titles if he is not injured. All of the old school fans still like Roger DeCoster, While most think Jeremy McGrath is by far the greatest Supercross rider of all time. The Australians of course are going with Chad Reed while the Europeans are going with Stefan Everts. So tell me who is your greatest motocrosser of all time. I know there are a lot but I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO KNOW.

DO FACTORY RIDERS CHEAT?

Yes. However, they believe that their interpretation of the rule book is on the legal side of dishonest. The AMA has never been willing to put any teeth into the Production Rule and as a result the gray areas are so great you could go to the starting line with Art Arfons Green Monster rocket car and still fall within the AMAs definitions of production. The factory teams are cheating--at least in the spirit of the law. By the letter of the law they aren't breaking any rules.
This is a great little article I read in motocross action magazine thought you would all enjoy, and tell me what you think, are the factory rider's cheating.
